Strengths:    it is a nice light frame,

Weaknesses:    it is too thin, not a good street frame at all.

Bottom Line:
this frame sucks i had it less than a month and i done put a monster ass dent in it and i bent the dropouts already. I'm only 16 and weigh 150 so that tells you either im a hard street rider or this frame is really really a peice.

Strengths:    nice cruiser for a bigger guy and i am the coolest cat in the caldasak when im crusin with my 4 year lod son.

Weaknesses:    i cant seem to get the bars right. ive tried to tackle a couple stair cases and i can hear the bars screching forward, but i am 260lbs i think a diffrent stem would help. I am new to this, and i would like to MAKE it tougher so if you have any suggestions please email me thanks.

Bottom Line:
i can't quite trust the bars set up yet. i fel like iam going to stip them if i try anything serious.

Date Reviewed: October 14, 2003

Strengths:    The frame is strongest thing ever. This bike is the best for street and takes the grinds and stair gaps great.

Weaknesses:    I bent and broke most things on the bike except the frame and stem.

Bottom Line:
My set up cost a lot of money and is heavy and strong as a rhino the only thing good to keep on the original is the stem and frame (Still worth the money). The frame is the strongest frame I ever had and takes a beating but its really heavy. Weight=strength is what I say.

Announcing The General Lee (and 5 hours of fun on Mount Diablo)

It was the first innaugural ride on The General Lee. Met up with Jim, Andy and Jim's brother Bill for an early morning ride on Mount Diablo. They didn't tell me what we were doing - but it ended up being big. 32 miles and 5,500 in climbing. We hit lots of lesser known sections of trail and had ... Read More »

Dave aka "Cooter" at Redstone built it up and then I added the extra cycle. Call Dave at Redstone if you need a bike from Hazzard County. [url]http: ... Read More »

The General Lee

A few years ago his buddy powder coated in Orange (Duke Boy Orange that is). One day about two years ago I asked him if he would sell it ... Read More »

Revived General Lee thread

A while back there was a post about The DK General Lee and putting a fork on it. I'm too lazy to search or it so I figured I would start another. I rode urban last night and my wrists are killing me. I couldn't take it any longer. I guess I need to face the fact I'm getting old. (40ish) It doesn ... Read More »
