Strengths:    I got this bike in may 2002 and I've Had This Bike 6 Years now and its still going strong i got it for my 7th birthday.

Weaknesses:    I found it very heavy at first but as i got older i could manage to pull a little wheelie but a couple of months ago the chain snapped Just by peddaling it and there seems no apparent reason for it to snap like that because i fell off then and badly cut my arm. Also the innertube came out of the rim and i got a new innertube and that popped as well so i had no choice but to get a new tire. DIAMONDBACK. :-(

Bottom Line:
excellent. Very Strong And Robust So I would reccomend this bike to any beginners and those that want a long lasting bike very good value

Strengths:    Cranks, stem and the rims are impossible to buckle. Extremely good for dirt jumping, the max daddy tires can lean incredibly far and the tyres should be put up to about 45 PSI for maximum performance

Weaknesses:    brakes they are really bad! i have taken it to the place og buying and they cannot make them better without having new brakes installed. The rims however if the innertube is not put up to high enough pressures it will rim out and you will need a innertube!!!!! repairs to this type of snakebite are impossible!

Bottom Line:
very good bike. feels great when landing. good for flatland. try this,,,,....... ride slowly, bring right leg over bike frame to under the stem and lodge your foot in. put your left foot onto your stunt peg and swing the bike 360degrees. pull both legs back to the pedals. this is a very spectacular flatland 360 tailwhip!!!!!!!!!! it looks really good and is fun to try, if you dont do it the 1st time keep practicing because it works.

Strengths:    Good 3 piece cranks, nice gyro, excellent grips, very strong wheels

Weaknesses:    brakes

Bottom Line:
The Mongoose Pro Expert is a really good bike to ride, its great for dirt jumping. It would be almost impossible to break/bend the cranks on this bike. The only set back is the brakes. At first i thought they just had to be worn in but later on, after i had ajusted them a few times they were still as bad as before. Otherwise a very good bike for everyone.

Strengths:    good frame, 3 piece cranks, cro-mo bars, good grips, nice wheel set

Weaknesses:    brakes

Bottom Line:
I really like this bike. It's well priced and comes with a good component spec. It gives a confident ride on all surfaces. The only problem I have faced has been the brakes, they are tekro ones which i thought wud b gud but they are real crap. At first they werent set up rite, so i took them to the local bike shop and had them done there but after like 10 mins use they just got crap again. id definately recommend this bike to people who are just starting out, i totally love it! Just be expecting to get new brakes, thats all.
