Favorite Trail:trails suck parks rock
Duration Product Used:1 Year
Price Paid: $219.00
Purchased At:island cycle, was 419 canadian, i dont know the us price im guessing
Strengths:None for the frame, i love the wheel sets, but i run a 14 mil now because my back hub died and my rim bent
Weaknesses:the frame, everything is good about the frame but one thing, if you do 180 bunnyhops, roll backs, ride park, anything, this frame will crack, there is a very small tube on the seat stay, right near the seatpost tube and it continues to the drop out, i crack it, the good thing about free agent is that they warrenty it, i got another air raid, it cracked, i got one more, cracked it too, im riding a super fortress, much better frame, but i liked the air raid because of the front end, it had more scuff room for flatland, but it was too weak in the back.
Similar Products Used:none
Bike Setup:lol, i dont have my air raid frame anymore, i got a superfortress, much better, and i got the super fortress frame free, other then that i have s&m dive bar, 2001 air raid stem, hook worm tire front, tj specialized tire rear, alex double wall back, single chro mo rim front, sun hub rear, free agent front hub, free agent fork, hombre back brake, fbm sprocket w/ guard, original seat pink sided seat from my 2001 air raid, i had bought a 2001 air raid to begin with but i had a 2002 air raid in 2002 because thats what they sent me, then i got a super fort, the 2002 air raid parts arent as good as the 2001 air raid parts, and my super fort is a 2002 frame, the 2003 super fort is no longer made, meaning there isnt one, only a 2003 flying fort, if you want a good bike, get the flying fort, or any good dirt jumper, not an air raid, even for flatland it is no good, just put flatland parts on a dirt frame, works for me!
Bottom Line:air raid = crap
super fortress = AWESOME FRAME
