Strengths:    Quality, pockets, zippers, comfort, attention to detail.

Weaknesses:    None

Bottom Line:
Awesome shorts, bottom line. Super strong fabric, zippers are big and strong, pockets are huge. I machine wash and tumble dry them even though it says not to and there have been no issues. I left them covered with mud for 3 months plus, but whatever material they are must be very stain resistant, one wash takes it all out. I've crashed in them several times and they have saved my legs from abrasions and held up great. These have been my regular riding shorts for 4+ years and I am finally retiring them because I outgrew the waist. The short itself is still in perfect condition and could be used at least 4 more years. All seams, buttons, and zippers are still 100%. I will be buying another pair.

Strengths:    bulletproof materials, excellent pockets, great looks, got em for a great price

Weaknesses:    Hot, no chamois, noisy when pedaling

Bottom Line:
these aren't really for cross-country riding but I use em in the winter with lycra shorts underneath. These shorts could probably last a lifetime they're so well made. Pockets couldn't be better with super strong zippers and are high enough that stuff inside them doesnt bang off your thighs. For trail riding/ cross country you would probably only use them in the winter(they're very warm, which is actually good)One thing that is annoying is the material is so heavyweight that they are noisy when you're pedaling ( again they are really downhill shorts were one doesnt do much pedaling)All in all they are great winter shorts and just one of several pairs you should own

Just picked up a Neo Moto and planning on setting up as tubeless. I have read some of the posts in this forum where riders had some problems with the moto as a tubeless tire. Anyone know if the tire has changed from the original to be more tubeless friendly, i.e. thicker sidewalls? My tire has no ... Read More »

1982 Sweetheart Cycles Moto Cruiser S/N MC3 028 (Pre-Yeti FRO)

Moto Cruisers were the predecessor to the Yeti FRO, and very few examples appear to have survived. With help from the original owner, who bought it when he graduated from high school, the original configuration has been restored. The crankset is original to the bike. This bike was raced in the vi ... Read More »

Neo-moto sized tire choices?

I started running 27.5 in 2007. Choices were limited for a number of years to the Neo-moto, Kendal Nevegal, WTB Wolverine & IRC Fire. Well now that there are plenty of choices I am still limited to a 2.3 Neo-moto on my 26er conversion. I would like a TR tire that is a fast roller, good for trail use ... Read More »

2013 Jamis Dragon 650 Sport vs 2011 Moto Fantom Pro

Hey guys, I was looking for some help. I have had an eye on a Jamis Dragon 650 Sport that has recently gone on sale at LBS ($950). It rides great, though I am not sure if I want a 650. I have a 29er currently and don't have any confidence on it. I felt alot better on 26ers. So I also started ... Read More »
