Strengths: bulletproof materials, excellent pockets, great looks, got em for a great price
Weaknesses: Hot, no chamois, noisy when pedaling
Bottom Line:
these aren't really for cross-country riding but I use em in the winter with lycra shorts underneath.These shorts could probably last a lifetime they're so well made. Pockets couldn't be better with super strong zippers and are high enough that stuff inside them doesnt bang off your thighs.For trail riding/ cross country you would probably only use them in the winter(they're very warm, which is actually good)One thing that is annoying is the material is so heavyweight that they are noisy when you're pedaling ( again they are really downhill shorts were one doesnt do much pedaling)All in all they are great winter shorts and just one of several pairs you should own
