Strengths: ** 3/4 length (fends off ferocious fog)
** high-tech wool material (warm when wet)
** fancy pants crotch pad (neutralizes nut nastiness)Weaknesses: ** cut smaller in waist etc than you might think!
** on extremely hot days, there is no way of making them cooler except stripping 'em off and riding home bare back
Bottom Line: If you can swing the cash, and cycle in cooler than summer afternoon weather, by all means go and get these pants. Wool is really great that it keeps you warm when the wind and fog kick in over the bridge yet doesn't cook you (unless it's 90+) while climbing a hill over in Marin. The wool, along with Swobos imported Italian crotch pad don't stink terribly after a single ride either. You can use these pants all week without washing them. Heck, I go all month but then again, I am sorta gross.
NOTE: Swobo shorts are cut smaller than you think!! Check the website for sizing info before buying (32" waist=Large). They also warn that they shrink slighty after the first wash, which is true, but it is a lot less than you would think being wool and all.
My girlfriend tried them for one ride, and loved them so much she went and bought herself a pair.

Strengths:
Machine-washable wool blend, Castelli Alcantara chamois, extremely comfortable, very warm but very breathable, tough like all Swobo products, longer than shorts but shorter than full-length tights, perfect for wearing underneath long cut-offs, Dickies shorts, or whatever urban cycling gear you prefer.Weaknesses:
The price!!! Who can afford to kick down $100, except for yuppie scum or compulsive cycling freaks?Bottom Line: These babies are awesome! When The Pusher Man (aka my local bike shop) told me Swobo had come out with these, I freaked out and didn't sleep until I procured a pair. Well worth it. They keep me warm and dry, but I can wear them all day without the slightest discomfort. Swobo is marketing these at you cyclocross freaks, but they are great for anybody who does all-weather cycling. With these, I don't have to worry about getting wet because I'll still stay warm and comfy. The chamois is top of the line Castelli, too. Highly recommended.
