Strengths:    - Comfortable
- Durable
- Quick Drying
- Matte finish hides dirt

Weaknesses:    Nothing so far!

Bottom Line:
Review of TechniFine Ultimate short.

Great short readily available in Toronto bike shops.
Significantly better than Louis Garneau. In fact, I find I am losing interest in Louis products and finding the Sugoi products much better in general.

Durable, sits in place and remains there, doesn't easily snag on my saddle nose, and keeps my arss very dry even in 90 degree 90% humidity days. Not even dirt shows very well on the material!

Strengths:    looks, breathability

Weaknesses:    seams!

Bottom Line:
No center seam, but 2 other seams running dorn the middle about 2" apart. Pretty painfull after a 60 mile road ride. Glad I got 'em at REI because they are going back!

Strengths:    Look good, fit great. always feel great at first. Good quality pad and fabric.

Weaknesses:    After 45 minutes they're like sandpaper on my balls. The pad's good. It's the seams around the pad. It happens everytime. Non of my other shorts do this.

Bottom Line:
Sugoi - Please fix that goddamn seam! Otherwise the shorts would be great.

Strengths:    The fabric and chamois are very comfortable and durable. I purchased these on the recommendation of the bike shop and have been very happy with them.

Weaknesses:    The chamois is a little more delicate than the one in the Peal Izumi shorts, but this hasn't been a problem. I just wash them by hand.

Bottom Line:
A good product which I'm going to stick with.

Strengths:    Durable, well-fitting, decent compression (they don't ride around on you), cool-looking and unusual blue-grey color, very comfortable and *ahem* "tidy".

Weaknesses:    Hah!

Bottom Line:
There are a lot of great shorts out there, but for my money, none compare to these. Pearl Izumis are really good, and they'll do in a pinch, but I have become embarrassingly brand loyal to Sugoi because, time and time again, they prrove themselves to be the best blend of durability and fit, with an emphasis on Fit.

The Real Bottom Line: other shorts, for example my well-made and durable Cannondales (and Castellis, and a host of others), while beautifully built and very servicable, have the unfortunate tendency to "lift and seperate". You can't go out of the house like that. What are these people thinking? My Sugoi Ultimate Technifines - all 3 pairs (I bought one pair one day, the other two pairs immediately after I received my next paycheck) - keep my unmentionables in a tidy bundle that is compact, comfortable and unoffending to the eye. Three hearty cheers for the sensitive ladies and gentlemen at Sugoi.

Bottom Line:
50 bucks at REI. i have been looking for a pair of shorts that fit great and i finally found them. i am going to go buy 2 more pairs this weekend.
i have had them for about 3 months and ride 2-3 times a week. went on a 5 hour bike ride( i got lost) and i didn't think about my shorts once. i would difinitely recommend them. they have a pretty thick chamois but it isnt all bulky like some.

Bottom Line:
Very well made and comfortable. Nice insert that comes up just a bit higher in front than my Pearl Izumi's which helps to hide... well you get the idea. The best I've tried!
