Looks goodWeaknesses: 1. Crotch area is bound to tear if you try to move more freely. Had to do a repair and put a patch there. Size larger would probably worked better, though I fitted in 'LG' by all criterias.
2. Other thing is you have to either buy Showers Pass Suspenders or find narrow belt, otherwise pants won't sit properly.Bottom Line: After getting crotch torn apart, was looking for 3/4 convertible alternatives, and the only direct one I've found was RaceFace Ambush Convertible Pants.
Chosen to give to local repair shop, which worked out well.
P.S. Do not expect it to be fully waterproof. As well as alternatives it's water/wind resistant film inside and DWR coating outside. So be warned when washing them or using wildly: reapply DWR coating to restore pants usefulness under rain.
I'm using it with a merino bottom baselayer, adjusting it to 3/4 as needed. So far worked good in all seasons including winter trips, you just need to ride actively to heat up yourself. But if it's raining and your DWR coating is absent, expect thighs to be wet.
Overall, I'm satisfied, but won't buy a second pair, instead will try alternatives
