Strengths: Fit (after you get them on) riding comfort, build quality, slide around on the saddle nicelyWeaknesses: waistband is too tight, sizes aren't really accurate. i mean come on, I weigh 168 and stand 5'10" and i had to get a largeBottom Line: These are fine shorts. I've tried on a few Nema's over the years and they never fit or felt right. These are all day shorts.

Strengths: Extremely comfortable, breathe wellWeaknesses: chamois fits a little weirdBottom Line: I have four pair of mountain biking shorts, and these are always my first choice to wear, even though my other shorts cost a lot more and are from bigger brands. The chamois is a bit big, but it actually works just as good as my Oakley one and a hell of a lot better than the one in my Fox shorts.
They're comfortable to ride in, and I forget them, which is the best thing you can say for what you're wearing when you're riding.

Strengths: Well-designed, plenty of pockets.Weaknesses: Chamois is pretty weak, but better than nothing. Wish I'd noticed the Pricepoint brand shorts before I'd ordered.Bottom Line: Order the next larger size. Waist is ok, but is tough getting over the arse (cosider myself to have a normal size keister).

Strengths: Great looks, nice chamios, intergrated inner, comfortable when not ridingWeaknesses: The elastic draw string kinks in the toggle, the side kicks are so shallow that everything falls out of them when you sit down (unless you zip it), too hot to wear in really high tempsBottom Line: I like these shorts. In fact, I like them a lot more than I expected. They look sharp and they're very comfortable. The weaknesses that I listed are a nuisance but none of them are deal breakers. After years of riding in spandex, I bought these as an experiment. When I mountain bike, or even when I throw my leg over my fixie, I look for these shorts first. The chamois is very comfortable.
The only time I wished I'd worn my spandex was when I rode in 105 degree weather. And really, how much difference would that of made?
