Strengths:    Protection, construction.

Weaknesses:    Sized HUGE. XL for 230+lb 42"+ waist. Stiff padding in chamois.

Bottom Line:   
These are NOT cycling shorts.

Hard padding in chamois makes them unsuitable to bicycle in. They are for under motorcycle pants or jeans to add some (additional) protection. Sizing (on the pair that I got) was much larger than any cycling shorts I have ever owned.
