Strength:

bullet proof, super comfy, fully adjustable, wear them to a party chicks dig them and super vented

Weakness:

price is high but longevity makes them well worth it

I had this shorts for over three years and needed nothing else, I lost weight after numerous rides and change of diet and I just adjusted the velcrostraps I also have crashed hard numerous times and everything else got destroyed but the shorts got nothing on them, yeah after a few years they are going to loose some of their plastic logos bling but the actual short is fully intact, thanks FOX FOR PRODUCING SUCH GREAT PRODUCT and for how long they lasted well worth the money

I was very disapointed with these shorts. The zippers on the pockets are weak. Stitching began to unravel after the first wash. The elastic on the inner lining disintegrated after a few rides. Overall poor quality control for such pricey shorts.

Strength:

Nice looks, good lenght, usefull pockets, durable outer layer, light and extremely quick drying, good chamoix (for me at least)

Weakness:

Inner shorts too shallow and to tight, logo on the left leg peeled off permanently leaving a hole that could tear further.

Very good outer pants material - light, durable, doesn't fade and dries in minutes
Very strange inner shorts - shallow, tight and rather low quality.
Chamoix fits me well at 205lbs but that's personal.
Logo on the left leg is sh!t - it peels off leaving you with sharp-edged hole that tears more - I had to get it stiched nicely all the way around and no problems from there.
Will replace the inner pants soon and leave the outers.
I paid nickles by a sellers auction mistake (around $100), they cost $230 here.

Light and comfortable. Big pockets. They look like regular shorts. Adjust ability around the waist. Chamois is removable.

Weakness:

Expensive. Too baggy. All yellow logos have fallen off. Chamois has torn at the seems.

Big let down. Awesome shorts when new but, they started to fall apart after a couple of weeks. I use these shorts when everything else is dirty. :( If you ride occasionally and don't intend on washing these shorts then they're for you.

Strength:

Seam welding down the centre of the shorts should hold up better than stitching over time, especially in mud.
Good sun protection for your legs.
Very well ventilated. A good warm weather short.
good size hand pockets.
The outer short is good to ride in when used with a belt.

Weakness:

Waist is supported by adjustable elastic tabs which make the short feel comfy but there is not enough elastic to hold the shorts up, should you dig the nose of the saddle into the rear of them while sliding over the rear. Plan on wearing a belt to hold up these already heavy shorts.
The well ventilated (read thin) inner knicks are showing signs of early wear.
At least inner knicks can be replaced because they are not attatched to the outer short.
The chamois is pretty average and just seems to squash to nothing under my weight.100kgs, (220lbs).
These are VERY long shorts that come well down past your knees. This may give snagging issues to some riders.
Overpriced.

This short has got some good features but is let down (literally) by its waist band laces not going all the way around and the elastic not being a strong enough substitute. A belt solves the problem but at this price, thats not good enough. The sizing seemed a little larger than Fox's lower end shorts so definately try before you buy. I'll probably find another set of knicks with a better chamois for cooler months and longer rides whilst keeping the original knicks for the hot days.

Very durable yet comfortable and breathable. The pad is very cushy and makes epic rides more enjoyable! They are baggy so you dont look like a dirt rodie! Water proof pockets are great for the cell phone.

Weakness:

These shorts are worth 120$ even though I got them on sale for 70$! They definatly make the ride more enjoyable!

Strength:

Nicely detailed, good ventilation, great liner. Very comfortable. Good brand image.

Weakness:

Expensive. Trim started to peel off after 1 wash. Returned to Fox Europe and got a new pair but the trim is peeling off of them before I've ridden in them.

Not at all pleased with these. I've admired Fox gear for a while but won't be buying it again. I'm still waiting to resolve this issue but when I get my cash back I'll be looking elsewhere.

Strength:

light weight, very flexible/stretchy, great ventilation.
deceivingly tough

Weakness:

These shorts are comfortable and cool. The detachable liner is quazy perforated…
The panels are cut in such a manner that they never get hung up on anything... knees/saddle nadda... combine the cut with the stretchy nature of the material and pedal action is as free as wearing the xc race shorts.
There is not an excess of pockets, but, if you are going to be pedaling, you don't want stuff flapping around your legs anyways.
The one zip'd pocket is perfect for car key during your ride. 2 huge same sized pockets in front... 1 alone is enough to swallow a wallet, cell phone, pocket knife and key chain at the pop store on your way home.
I’ve had a couple of spectacular high speed falls on rocky and cactus strewn landscape, and the shorts are undamaged. For something so light and comfy, I amazed at their toughness.
I believe this is a case of getting what you pay for.
I will be getting another pair.

These shorts are very comfortable and stand up to the rigors of mountain biking. The chamois isn't too bad although I've developed a hardened rear end and probably can't feel anything down there anyways. A bit pricy but worth it.

Really nice features super good fit and comfort.

Weakness:

they fall apart in no time. Not worth the 120 dollars spent on them. the taped zippers tear apart allowing your stuff to fall out of the pocket. the logo on the left leg starts to tear apart from the cloth. all of the rubber tabs tear off the first time you pull on them with little pressure.

They are only worth it for the chamois and a months worth of use at tops. Will fall apart very easily , not recomemended.
