extremely durable, hip protection(foam pad inserts), awesome built in buckle system= good fit while riding
Very thick which means not too flexible, expensive, and the material can chaife the back of your knees from exssesive peddling.
these shorts are literally indestructable and are awesome protection for fast DH and freeriding(well worth the $). But if your gonna be doing a lot of climbing you should probably stick to some lighter and more comfortable shorts.

Hip pads too thick
Great shorts, way too expensive at $80, but a great deal at $28! Fit properly, too - a 32 is actually a 32. These shorts are too heavy for anything but downhilling, but they'll definitely withstand crashing.
The hip pads are effective, but they're too thick - shorts are too tight for relaxed pedalling.
