Strengths:    These fit extremely well. Durable and functional, CRD2s are shorts that you'll want to wear on days you don't ride (or ones when the pub is the next stop).

Weaknesses:    They are a bit pricey...find a deal.

Bottom Line:
Excellent choice that cannot be matched. I've tried Hoss, Enduro...these are the best I've worn.

Strengths:    Fit, durability of short material

Weaknesses:    Shammy/liner are like wearing a diaper, low quality, zipper clip is easily damaged

Bottom Line:
These are the best fitting shorts I have ever come across for xc and trail riding. They do not bind at the top of the peddle stroke and functional in design. The waist adjustment is by a strap and clip, easy, secure and durable. The shammy is very bulky, low quality and the liner is a good concept with breathable mesh for breathability, but not good support. I have two pairs of these shorts and wear a pair of road bibs underneath.

2 Days, 1 Night, Where Would You Ride?

So I have an infrequent opportunity to camp and ride next week, so I'm trying to decide where. If you could leave Phoenix, drive, ride, camp overnight and drive back the next morning, where would you go? I've always gone to the Mogollon to ride when I've done these things, but wouldn't mind trying ... Read More »

2 days on RDO; 2 new KOMs

After my new build was finished I hit the the local trails I've been riding the past 6 months. I also decided to start using Strava with the new bike. 2 days in and I have 2 KOMs on descent segments I didn't know existed and a top 5 on my favorite loop. Jet9 RDO purchase is officially justified. Tha ... Read More »

Salidas - 2 days Late May advice

Hi!!! So, a friend from Denver and I (from NYC) are travelling in a few weeks to Salidas to pick up some nice rentals and are looking for a moderate challenge. I will have a 4x4 with a hitch (renting) and can go 50-75 miles from the rental location. Hopefully some loops that are 3-7 hours long, n ... Read More »

White Rim in 2 days

So I'm looking at doing a 2 day trip next fall. This is more of a trip for my parents who have wanted to drive it for many years. I'll be biking as much as possible (leaving earlier in the AM to get a head start etc...). I'm slow, so they should catch me easily each day even with photo ops. Was ... Read More »

Tabata 2-a-days

In my experience, there are two types of on-bike training you can do and not need a measuring device: LSD rides and hard-as-possible anaerobic intervals. For the latter, I have used them effectively for 2-week tapers, once a day. A few times I've tried 2-a-days with Tabatas. This schedule is g ... Read More »
