Strengths: Nice fit, quality construction.Weaknesses: Big chamois, material felt thin (it is their entry level short)Bottom Line: Best tried on the bike not in the store. Chamois initally feels too big but isn't a problem on the bike. The thin material may become an issue as the shorts wear.
Be aware of that crazy Euro sizing - especially if mail ordering.
Assos may make the best shorts, but these entry level pair don't live up to that hype. Better than average yes, but at this price level Castelli in particualr do it better.

Strengths:
Really good fit.
High quality construction
Superior fabric
VERY comfortableWeaknesses:
Pad a bit big (compared to Prosline)Bottom Line: These shorts, although ASSOS entry level shorts, are better than most other shorts on the market, with the exception of the ASSOS Prosline and Castelli Progetto bibs. They fit great, are durable and are made of very high quality fabric. And, they are Swiss. Need I say more?
