Comfort, design, looks, full leather.

Bottom Line:   
I owned a pair of high end Lake shoes and they were very uncomfortable, just like shimano shoes (both shoes made by shimano). The Specialized are the most comfortable shoes available, no hot spots and the soles stay attatched to the shoes.
