Strengths: Durability. I've ridden these shoes for almost 5 years now.
Weaknesses: The sole is horrible!
Bottom Line:
The sole is a hard piece of plastic. It is slippery as butter. Walking on rocks is easier in a pair of leather soled dress shoes than it is in these shoes. If your foot isn't clipped into the pedal forget it. Your foot will skate off instantly. Basically, except for the fact that these shoes have cleats in the bottoms, they make absolutely no sense as a shoe to be wearing anyplace that you would want to go riding. On the upside I've abused them for almost 5 years now and they won't die so that I can buy a new pair, which is why they get a 3 for value.
Bike Setup: not applicable, I've used look and shimano pedals with these shoes

Strengths: Comfortable, Body Geometry sole creates a more powerful pedal stroke, looks good, secure.
Weaknesses: Body Geometry sole takes a little getting used to, feels weird at first.
Bottom Line:
Body Geometry RULES! It takes a little while to get used to the way it feels, but once you do, you'll realize the difference. It has arch support like no other, and allows a more powerful and efficient pedal stroke. An all together solid shoe.
Bike Setup: 2002 Trek 6500 SLR, Marzocchi Atom Race Z.2, Panaracer Trailblaster 2.1's, Bontrager CrowBar, Avid Single Digit Ti's.

Strengths: Well ventilated, rigid sole, snug fit
Bottom Line:
Before I got this pair, I've been using sneakers with toe clips. Pedaling sometimes took a lot out of me. After using this pair of shoes, pedaling was more efficient, sometimes effortless, even going up slight inclines using the fastest gear. I'm glad I got these shoes and also swapped out my stock pedals for the PD-M424's.
Bike Setup: 01 Specialized Rockhopper FSR xc, stock except for Shimano PD-M424

Strengths: Rigid sole, snug but not uncomfortable fit, great treads.
Weaknesses: Noticed that it digs the back of my foot a bit.. but may be a size issue... Short tounge. Ugly color... =0]
Bottom Line:
Sweet for 50.00 bucks... Yellow may be the color of the tour's color... but it's not mine... Great for sprints and overall spinning.. Durable.. Definate keeper!

Strengths: comfortable, very breathable, fits like a sock so you don't slip all over the place
Weaknesses: tread wore out quickly, sole seperating from upper already.
Bottom Line:
bought these shoes to last me a trek across the country this summer on my touring bike. worked out well considering they were my both my daily shoes as well as my riding shoes for 2 months. the tread wore out near the end and now i'm down to grinding on the cleat itself, but that's probably to be expected. very breathable, very nice for riding 8 hours a day in hot north dakota and montana summer weather. the neoprene tongue made the shoe fit like a glove, never had a problem with slipping or anything. never even put the laces on..just kept the velcro.
Bike Setup: cannondale t700, ritchey spd clipless pedals.

Strengths: Great fit and seem to be fairly durable.
Weaknesses: Can be too stiff at first. Takes time to "get into".
Bottom Line:
If you are using toe clips, STOP!! Buy clipless ASAP. I bought these online from Specialized (the price was right) and have really enjoyed them. They fit well and hold well under all kinds of conditions. Have not experienced the cracking soles or upper rips of other reviewers, but maybe time will tell. So far, I can say that I feel I have gotten my $69 worth out of 'em so if lightning strikes 'em, I won't be too upset. Decent shoes for the $$$...buy 'em!

Strengths: Good fit, comfortable, stiff, good grip for hike-a-bikes
Weaknesses: Does not work well with Time cleats
Bottom Line:
These shoes are a pain to click into Time pedals. Most shoes I've had slide in nicely to the pedals, but these catch and slip. This is a pain when you're starting a race or getting back in after a wipeout, with people piling into from behind while you try to find the sweet spot. I've tried cutting a bit of material off the sole to make it easier - guess I'll cut some more. Besides that, great shoes.

Strengths: Body Geometry design is insane! Sooo good on the knees. Puts your leg and pedal in perfect unity. Nice and stiff with great comfort for long rides.
Weaknesses: Every screw in it has come out or come loose at least once. Maybe add some lock-tight to each shoe box?
