Strengths:    Moderated cost, easy to walk, they look like regular shoes

Weaknesses:    Wide toe box, botentially dangerous while combined with clipless pedals

Bottom Line:
I would not recommend these shoes to my friends. They are dangerous while used with clipless pedals. I landed with my left knee using this shoes because was unable to disengage my foot from the pedal. After more than a decade of using clipless pedals, this incident captured my attention. These shoes are wide, and the toe box could hit the crank arm while trying to disengage. This happens if the left crank is at the 4:00 position; same thing with the right one at 8:00. As a result, it is impossible to release the shoe at these positions. This is particularly dangerous and could result in some ridiculous accidents or even injuries.

I switched to Sidi´s Torx. Not perfect shoes either, but disengages without problem.

Strengths:    usable in a wide range of weather conditions (tried even in winter with t=-15C but that was a kind of tricky way to use them ;) ), it's possible to walk while wearing them (but I wouldn't recommend long walks anyway)

Weaknesses:    sole is not very stiff, it tends to create an additional load on your feet around the cleats area (very frustrating when riding 50+ miles per day), I hate laces (no good way to fix them on these shoes)

Bottom Line:
good for not extreme usage, but your mileage may vary when pushing a bit more than commuting. definitely not MTB competition shoes, but not marketed as such though

Strengths:    Comfortable. Looks good. Like the shoe lace.

Weaknesses:    During emergency bailouts the sole would deform slightly making it difficult (or impossible) to disengage the cleat. Thus causing significant pain and blood loss on a number of occassions. Unfortunately they were my first shoes, and it took me a while to figure out the problem and replace them. Feeling happier and safer now.

Bottom Line:
Look for shoes with harder soles. Softer rubber soled shoes make it harder to eject when they get torqued hard.

Strengths:    Comfortable!, not too heavy, stiff sole, looks great, versatile, price

Weaknesses:    There is a little bungee to secure the laces.. it's not great, but it works

Bottom Line:
I love these shoes. I'm very picky about fit.

Strengths:    Cheap, good looking. Alot stiffer than it looks.

Weaknesses:    None

Bottom Line:
Great looking shoe, I'll buy another set to keep in spare for these. Sole is as stiff as my SIDI's, but alot better grip on the tread. The tread isn't hard like the sidi, but not as soft as a regular tennis shoe. I will be wearing them at work on days I want to ride at lunch.

Keep in mind that the tread is deeper than normal to account for the cleat. It feels as though your walking on your tip toes. Sizes run a bit on the larger side. I got an 8.3 US(42) and I normaly wear a 9.5 shoe.
