Date Reviewed: November 23, 2009
Favorite Trail:Hacienda Las Varras
Duration Product Used:3 months
Price Paid: $190.00
Purchased At:Belda Cycles USA
Strengths:Light weight, durable and grip in all types of conditions.
Weaknesses:The ratchet device seems a little weak and for the price you'd expect something a little stronger although nothing has broken yet
Similar Products Used:Shimano M180 (Had these for just short of 3 years - Best thing ever and I hope the M230's serves me well too)
Bike Setup:09' Norco Fluid LT2
Bottom Line:Had to upgrade as my previous pair of Shimano's served their purpose to the full and invested in a pair of M230 C's. Besides the ratchet device these shoes are really great. Light weight, durable and of course the heat treated shoe molded to fit the foot like a glove is a great initiative and personalize the bond with the shoe and bike, confidence inspiring, loving it.
