Submitted by ppfeifer a Racer from Northern VA
Date Reviewed: June 13, 2009
Duration Product Used:3 months
Price Paid: $145.00
Purchased At:The Bike Lane
Strengths:Carbon insert. Spikes come with shoes (Sidi's didn't for some reason)
Weaknesses:None
Bottom Line:I was deciding between the Sidi Dominator, Bontrager RL, and this shoe. The Sidi was too expensive and the Bonti didn't fit right. I have wide, short feet with high arches, and these fit very nicely. So far, I haven't experienced any of the problems the other reviewers have had. These are nice mountain biking shoes.

IT's had carbon fiber at bottom rather than PVC.

Date Reviewed: February 10, 2009
Duration Product Used:6 months
Price Paid: $100.00
Strengths:It didnt fall off my feet. it held the cleat. ratchet seemed good.
Weaknesses:made my left big toe go numb on every ride and bleed under the nail.
Similar Products Used:specialized, sidi
Bike Setup:Mojo SL
Bottom Line:I didnt even sell these things. I gave them to someone who doesnt ride much. I think thats the best way I could insult those shoes. I have had Sidi's (that are a size smaller) for 4 months now and I can see the line in where my toe stopped bleeding. the top half is red and the bottom half looks normal. glad i didnt loose the nail. maybe the custom fit ones would have worked but i just spent the money for a good shoe and I love them.

Date Reviewed: December 8, 2008
Favorite Trail:Local cow trails
Duration Product Used:6 months
Price Paid: $120.00
Purchased At:Pricepoint
Strengths:?
Weaknesses:poor fit
stitching
buckle
Similar Products Used:Specialized
Bike Setup:BLT XTR
Bottom Line:This shoe is junk. Never fit quite right - a little too wide, toes tend to be pinched. Buckle on left shoe has broken twice. Stitching completley blew out on other shoe. And, not very comfortable on long rides. For the money, one should get best quality. My Settes are better quality. I'm tough on shoes, but these should have lasted longer for the money.
