from Australia Date Reviewed: November 14, 2007 | | Duration Product Used: | 6 months | | Purchased At: | 200 | | Strengths: | Perfect fit. Durable. Stiff. Light enough. | | Weaknesses: | Pricy, a bit cold as it's full of vents! | | Similar Products Used: | Shimano MP66 DH spd's | | Bike Setup: | Yeti AS-X do it all | | Bottom Line: | You have to pay for quality when it comes to shoes. I first looked at the Sidi's, but they either fit your foot or they don't, they were too narrow for me. I tried on the Kameleon's and they were perfect. I had a crash where I my shoe slid along the road, and the is onyl missing a bit of the raised logo and some scratches to the buckle. I'll buy these again, or any similar spec Northwaves. | Value Rating: Overall Rating: |

$140.00 | | Purchased At: | local bike store | | Strengths: | good rigidity and good ventilation | | Weaknesses: | see bottom line | | Similar Products Used: | Adidas and Shimano | | Bike Setup: | GT Zaskar, XTR, Sid WC | | Bottom Line: | The shoes slide on slippery surface - very dangerously! It is not possibly to pass a wood bridge of the only a single plate or log. Insole loose its shape rapidly - it is made from textile. When inserting the foot the insole is going. After the first immersing into the river the strange smell became. It does not vanish after the several washing!
