High performance never felt so good on the wallet. The soft neoprene tongue and three Velcro straps combine for a very custom fit. The upper is made of synthetic leather and breathable mesh to prevent overheating. It has a nylon reinforced sole with an aggressive mud shedding tread and removable toe spikes.

Bottom Line:
This is a great shoe and even greater price! Nashbar has it on sale at $40 indefinitely, but with 20% off I got it at an even lower price. The shoe is beautiful, fashionable and rugged (it's got frickin' steel spikes, baby!). The sole is definitely stiffer than my current shoe (from Performance Bikes... which I am replacing because the sole separated from the shoe during a jump!), so energy transfer efficiency is increased. I recommend this shoe to everyone!
