Product Description

The Mavic Rush Shoes have many of the features of the top of the line Mavic Fury, but at a price and comfort level that is preferred by many cross-country riders. Not everyone wants to pay for or put up with carbon soles in their cross-country shoes. Cost can be an issue. Why spend big bucks on...

Strengths:    Buckle works well

Weaknesses:    Took almost a full season to get comfortable with them. Non-off-set velcro straps.

Bottom Line:
I have 2 full seasons with these - Now that they're totally broke in, they're ok. I have to reach down and tighten the top buckle throughout my rides to make sure they're as tight as can be, and I don't like the non-off-set velcro straps. When you really crank down on them, they are not comfortable and put too much pressure on the top of the foot.

I'm going with a more high-end shoe next time around.

Strengths:    Super stiff soles and very snug like a glove. The most comfortable shoe i have ever had and i have had Sidi dominators.

Weaknesses:    Kind of narrow, luckily my feet are not that fat. Don't see much difference between these and the Razors, which makes me think for $25 less i could have had the same shoe.

Bottom Line:
For the price they are a definite good deal.

rush to scalpel

I cracked my 2008 carbon rush and cannondale is replacing it with a 2012 carbon scalpel. I'll need to switch out the rp23 and get a bb30 crank and bb but I'm not sure which crank to look for. I liked the rp23 so I thought about looking into one to fit the scalpel. Does anyone know what length I n ... Read More »

Rush and looking to upgrade my suspension

I've got the radium shock and rockshox forks and they're junk for the most part. Ive been looking at the 32 Talas fox forks from 110-140mm of travel and I want to get a fox shock with RLC. What do you guys recommend and are the Talas forks any good? Also when buying this stuff what are the specifics ... Read More »

C'dale Rush RP23 Instal???

I just got back my RP23 from a factory rebuild. I'm concerned I may not be installing it correctly. The shock pivots on bushings that don't rotate, no bearings, so it has to be free to pivot against the frame's mounting points. The mounting bolts seem to allow me to tighten to the point that the ... Read More »

Anybody try a Rush 2112 jersey? What size and how does it fit? Pictures?

I want to order one of these jerseys's, and I'd like to have an idea for how the sizes fit. I don't like the skin tight look and also, I have a bit of a belly at the moment, so, although I'm working it off, I need a lose size). I wondered if anybody here has tried one of the jersey's in L, XL or XXL ... Read More »
