    Strengths:    Decent fit. Easy ratchet mechanism. Carbon Sole with enough flex for cyclocross

    Weaknesses:    Interupted tread pattern does not sit well on Crank Brothers eggbeater pedals. Tread is not deep enough to use with eggbeaters with carbon sole protectors under the cleat. I don't know if the carbon sole protector is necessary. Tread is not replaceable.

    Bottom Line:   
    Have used these only once. Fit is decent, but tread is interrupted(has gaps) and does not work well with eggbeaters. The tread does not sit sturdy on the spindle of the eggbeater. The shoe is also too loose on an eggbeater pedal when using the carbon sole guard. I don't know if the gard is necessary, but it was on my Sidi Dragons, because they carbon wore down from the pedal without the metal protectors.
