Louis Garneau Terra Shoes

DESCRIPTION

There's no part of the city and no part of the trail that the Louis Garneau Terra MTB Shoe can't go. The high-density nylon sole gives you enough stiffness for efficient power transfer on the trail, without sacrificing walk-ability while in the city. And even without a ratchet buckle, LG's HRS-80 heel cup prevents heel slip, ensuring you have a snug, comfortable fit no matter where the day's two-wheeled adventures take you.

Strength:

850 grams actual weight for the pair. Looks, comfort, style is decent, airflow feels good, stiffness is there.

Weakness:

Would like a bit lighter shoe, but the price is entry level so the weight is good for the price. My running shoes are lighter though, but only by about 100 grams.

I'm a first time clipless rider so I can't say much. The shoes feel great and make biking that much more fun. I can go further and get tired less with these on compared to flat pedals/shoes. I paid $109+13% HST tax which is not the best price but that's what you get for living in Canada. Can't really buy a shoe online unless you try it in a store first, so for the extra $20 or so it costs to buy locally I just went for it. Wearing these shoes far outweigh the minimal added weight compared to wearing my running shoes.

Excellent Shoe! Well Ventilated, light and definately comfortable. Good Fit and the three straps hold the shoe firmly to your foot

Absolutely superb shoe. Great price for the quality. Definately a must have. Very comgfortable nad your feet do not get hot or sweaty at all even in very hot weather, not tried in the wet yet, but do well in muddy conditions. The shoes come with 4 metal knobs for extra grip when walking and to protect the cleat..
Bottom line is these shoes are absolutely awesome!!!!!!
