Strengths:    **Extreme Grip for platform pedals**! Lots of support and protection, great shock absorbtion.

Weaknesses:    Kinda hot, but worth the trade offs.

Bottom Line:
Excellent shoe, these are a MUST for people using platform pedals. Everything else would slip off the pedals eventually. I have been riding with these for over a year now, and they have never slipped off. Even with questionable foot placement. The grip of the soles is incredible. On some of my trails, I have to carry the bike up some rocks to get to the next stage, and these shoes are like spider man walking over rocks. It makes sense since Five Ten was originally a rock climbing shoe company. Like I said, they are a little hot, proly from all the padding etc, but the trade off is worth it. If you can find Five Ten shoes on sale or clearance, JUMP on it!

Strengths:    Super comfy
Super grippy
Super padded
Super tough
Super awesome!

Weaknesses:    Nothin!

Bottom Line:
What the other guy said! I have never slipped the pedal with these shoes. Dry, wet, muddy...whatever the conditions are. Dirt jump, downhill, all mountain, cross country; have done everything in these shoes. Even played some ultimate frisbee in them! Really shock absorbing. Super tough; have bashed my foot off rocks. Look great after over a year of abuse. Just amazing! From here on out I will always buy Five Ten shoes.

Strengths:    Grip, Grip and grip. High quality and they look supa sharp. Very comfortable right out of the box.

Weaknesses:    Nada

Bottom Line:
These shoes are worth every penny. The soles of the other shoes I've used would get eat up by the flat pedals I ride pretty quick and I would start slipping off the pedals.
Not with these Five Tens! Soles still look almost new after about a year of use and haven't slipped a pedal once with these. The Stealth rubber soles are amazing.
The Nathan Rennie version looks awesome too.
Buy these, you won't regret the purchase! I just ordered another pair for backup.
