Submitted by Scott Gaterell a Racer from Victoria, BC, Canada
Date Reviewed: April 4, 2001
Duration Product Used:6 months
Price Paid: $75.00
Strengths:Light, 3 velcro straps (ie. simple), fairly stiff, toe spikes included and easy to find replacement spikes, great name backing them up.
Weaknesses:No toe and heal bumpers.
Similar Products Used:Specialized Team, Diadora Jalapeno 2, Sidi Action SRS
Bike Setup:2001 Trek 8500, Speedplay pedals and some Ti goodies.
Bottom Line:Good shoes for the money, cool shiney blue finish, light and well ventilated... a solid all around shoe. A good buy for a racer on a budget or an all around rider with XC tendencies.

Submitted by Jeff Meiklejohn a Weekend Warrior from Vancouver B.C.
Date Reviewed: November 28, 1999
Duration Product Used:
6 months
Strengths:
Well ventilated
Stiff sole(good power transfer)
Toe spikes included
Weaknesses:
Velcro strap one shoe is begining to detach(could easily be sowed back on but that would be a pain)
Stiff sole (difficult to walk in)
Bike Setup:
Norco Rampage
Bomber Z2
Bottom Line:Good for racing, but not so good for adventure riding or when walking is required.
Weekend warriors should look for a shoe with a more flexible sole, especially if they ride trials which require carrying their bike.
This is a shoe for a racer who races in a warm climate, just be careful with the velcro cinch straps
Overall Rating:3
