Built to last, these MTB shoes feature reinforcement overlays for extra protection from wear and tear. Uppers are breathable nylon mesh uppers, reinforced by water-resistant synthetic suede. Abrasion-resistant overlays on toe, heel and side for durability. Self-adjusting lace closure has a retaining strap secured by a Velcro® hook-and-loop fastener with steel D-ring. Internal heel reinforcement helps stabilize the heel. Padded and relieved Achilles heel collar holds heel comfortably but snugly to eliminate slipping or chafing. Diadora's Diapan™ Triple Threat™ competition sole provides traction. Accepts SPD® type cleats via a removable steel mounting plate.

Duration Product Used:
2 Years
Strengths:
tough, they still look like new after 2 years, and if you ride eastern (like in mud) you know how tough it is on shoes.
Weaknesses:
I have very very normal feet, and these are most uncomfortable. Also, while climbing, my feet will hurt after 5 minutes...
Similar Products Used:
AirWalk of some sort, were WAY better.
Bike Setup:
Trek Liquid 25
Bottom Line:
I hate these shoes. Maybe they are not meant for my foot but I'm not comfortable at all in these. Two years of torture, my new Lakes are waiting for the snow to melt... But they were very durable.

Duration Product Used:

Price Paid:

Purchased At:

Strengths:
very comfortable for skinny feet, and presumably very comfortable for wide feet as well. Kick ass shoe for your dollar. Sole is quite stiff for a shoe in that price range. If looking for a good shoe for your limited wallet I definetly recommend them.
Weaknesses:
very cold in the winter. I tried Duct-taping the toe and it worked a little better but still very chilly. After about 6 months the sole started to separate from the body of the shoe.
Similar Products Used:

Bike Setup:
trek 6500 and 8000
Bottom Line:
I definetly recomend them. Sweet ass name too. I mean Jalepeno, you can never go wrong with a name like that.
