Submitted by Andrew a Racer from St. Louis Park , MN
Date Reviewed: November 28, 2006
Favorite Trail:Maah Daah Hey
Duration Product Used:Less than 1 month
Price Paid: $70.00
Purchased At:Eriks
Strengths:Light & stiff. The non-carbon soles felt stiffer than carbon soles on a specialized shoe with a comparable MSRP. I got these way cheaper.
Weaknesses:The upper around the toe feels like it's a bit chintzy, but there's no sign of breakdown after a few rides....the heel is solid.

Not carbon, if that's a problem to you.

The tread seems to be of a higher durometer than I'm used to. I'm wondering I will be skating on those rock gardens I have to hike-a-bike through.
Similar Products Used:N/A First mtb shoe
Bike Setup:Gary Fisher Sugar 293
Bottom Line:They fit pretty well. They felt just as good as comparable shoes and had a stiffer sole. I bought these because I got them pretty cheap.
Value Rating:5Overall Rating:4
