Strengths:
Looks Made in France (as if that matters)
Weaknesses:
Velcro glue comes off
Similar Products Used:
Specialized Comp Nike
Bike Setup:
Tommasini Sintesi & Yeti ARC
Bottom Line:
These shoes actually look pretty nice - none of that gaudy graphics you see in others. Used these for Canada's Icefields Parkway bike tour. They were brand new so I felt some hotspots the first 2 days. But then all was fine. The velcro strap is glued on to the backing and it came off. Used superglue to re-attach.

Strengths:
A awesome shoe for people with wide feet
Weaknesses:
Velcro feels "loose"
Similar Products Used:
Specialized
Bike Setup:
Sugar 3+ (stock)
Bottom Line:
My first pair of shoes were specialized products. Great shoe, it just made my foot num and hurt after a couple of hours or so. After reading several reviews about Carnac, I decided to purchase these shoes. I should have bought these in the first place. I have a wide flat foot that some how feels like it belongs in these shoes. I highly recommend anyone with wide feet to look for a pair of Carnacs, you wont regret it. The only thing that bothers me is the velcro doesn't seem to have a strong grip, but at the same time, it has never come loose.
