Duration Product Used:2 Years
Price Paid: $55.00

Strengths:These shoes are the best ever made for DH. Most reliable and comfortable as well as stable.
Bottom Line:It's a damn shame that Valencia pussed out on the manufacturing of them.

Strengths:Excellent protection. SPD compatible. Very good look.
«Real downhill boots!!!»
Weaknesses:-The top of the lycra lining burns the skin!
-EXPENSIVE!
-Funky fit. I ordered a 42
(too big) and after a 41. The «Sizing Chart» isn't correct.

Bottom Line:Well, I bought these boots for my birthday. It's a good product but it isn't the best quality/price I have seen...

Date Reviewed: December 27, 2002
Favorite Trail:Ladies Only
Duration Product Used:1 Year
Price Paid: $125.00
Purchased At:LBS
Strengths:Grippy, SPD compatible, ankle support, ankle armour, water resistant.
Weaknesses:Nothing.
Similar Products Used:Shimano shoes
Bike Setup:46 lbs of Bullit luvin!
Bottom Line:Best shoes I've ever tried. I used to smash up my ankles regularly, now they never get hurt. The built in ankle armour is outstanding! These are waterproof enough that you need to submerge your foot to get wet, and some waterproofing spray will help even more. My riding buddy runs the same shoes on flats (I run SPDs) and swears by them as well.

Date Reviewed: March 31, 2002
Favorite Trail:PLATTEKILL
Duration Product Used:2 Years
Price Paid: $120.00
Purchased At:downhill fantesy cycles
Strengths:These last a long time. Great ankle support
Weaknesses:spd only (I use them on flats anyways)
Similar Products Used:airwalk,vans
Bike Setup:m1 with all the goodies
Bottom Line:These shoes work great for downhill applications. They are well made and provide great ankle support. I use this shoe for all my downhill riding for two years and I have at least another year of use left on them. Why they made these for spd only is beyound me. The only way they could improve these shoes is to give they the sole of their dually shoe and of course lower the price. These babies are made for Plattakill.
