Strengths: Price.Weaknesses: Too narrow for the average male foot. Straps lost tension in hard riding; must stop to retighten. Rubber may come off in small chunksBottom Line: Good shoe for narrow feet riders who don't ride hard.

Strengths: Value for $; Z-fit retention system; Breathability; Sole stiffnessWeaknesses: Shoes run a little narrow; Not readily compatible with platform SPD pedals(646's)Bottom Line: This review is for AXO Terra 2's. This is my first pair of AXO's and will probably not be my last. I'm impressed with the quality of these shoes. The sole is rubber and it has lugs which help walking when you're off the bike. Toe spikes are optional. The midsole of this shoe is stiff for efficient energy transfer. A great overall shoe!

Strengths: durable uppers, stiff, recessed cleat, good grip, cool in summerWeaknesses: cold in winter, rubber can wear away easilyBottom Line: great value shoe, i just retired my old ones and bought the new "terra 2" fits great and the new ones have removable toe spikes, something the terra 1 did not. otherwise i havent had any problems with these

Strengths: even though only two strap, a very snug, strong fit. recesses cleats made walking cool. not too flashy; the upper held together really well, even after lots and lots of stuff. quite satisfied for it being first shoes with clipless!Weaknesses: the top strap was too long, and i had to cut it down significantly. kinda annoying. the rubber outer sole was pretty crappy, in that it didn't have the best grip (even though i am out there to bike, not hike) and it got pretty torn up and pulled away from the stiff plastic.Bottom Line: very good shoe overall, although the outer bottom needs better glue and definatly spikes, like in the higher end shoes. comfortabel shoes, even going to class a few time with them wasn't a big deal. came with a lot of stickers to to advertise, not a bad deal. these are good shoes to start out with, i mean, that is what i did. did a couple of races as well.

Strengths: decent looking
comfort
ease of entryWeaknesses: soft sole peels awayBottom Line: Very comfortable shoe, not too stiff (yes, there is such a thing), not too flexy. Perfect for weekend warriors. After a little less than a year the sole is peeling away from the toe and middle of the shoe. A note: the strap on original pair was a little long (barely catching velcro). I ordered a replacement pair and the strap is now way too short.

Strengths: Durable so far. easy to put on and take off quickly.
Weaknesses: You'll chill your toes in cooler weather.Bottom Line: Very good shoes! Velcro straps hold feet snugly and you don't have any laces to mess with. Reasonably priced @ $99 at LBS. Stiff soles but walking in these still comfortable.
I recommend these!!
