Strengths: Cheap
Laces and velcro strapWeaknesses: Too flexible
UglyBottom Line: I bought these shoes because they were cheap ($10 on sale)and I wanted a cheap pair as an introduction to clipless riding. They do the job well enough as far as keeping my feet attached to the pedals, but that's about it.
I like the fact that they have laces and velcro... that way there's no chance of the lace coming undone and getting caught on something. They're also pretty comfy for my small, narrow feet (size 6.5).
The down side is that the soles aren't stiff enough and I get numb toes when I'm sitting and spinning for long periods of time.
They are also a really horrible colour combination. I know cycling shoes aren't the height of fashion, but these fall somewhere in between the really bikey looking ones like Sidis and the hiking shoe type ones... they just look weird.
