Strengths: Surprisingly durable. I'm writing this review because I'm retiring these shoes after 6 years of trail and road abuse.
Weaknesses: Not great for narrow feet.
Bottom Line:
These shoes get 2 enthusiastic thumbs up. I'm gonna miss 'em. Will probably try the Speeders the next time around. Still, for all of the times that I've felt that I paid too much for a product or didn't get the value expected, I'll at least have these ol' 3 strappers to reminisce about. One of the few, true values.

Strengths: stiff sole for riding, yet easy to walk in when necessary; durable. (Now 3-strap, and they hold) Good fit, good ventilation.
Weaknesses: Cleat interface is too far back on the ball of the foot for larger sizes; makes 'instinctive' click-in difficult, slight loss of power to the pedals (alomost negligible, but it's there)
Bottom Line:
I can depend on these shoes to stay snug on my feet, and they seem to just last and last. That's the biggest single reason I haven't replaced them, because that cleat location is just a 'smidgen' off. It does make takeoff from a standing start a bit more difficult.
The comfort on the foot is there, the durability is there, and the shoe 'breathes' well. I will be going back to 661's though -- every bit as good, and better cleat location.

Strengths: This thing has high preformance in it. Cheaper than alot of cycling shoes so if you are going or aren't the richest you can afford clip-less still.

Strengths: Inexpensive, fit well
Weaknesses: The straps! After only about 9 months, the velcro on the straps barely sticks anymore. I've tried washing it, but to no avail. The straps constantly get loose, and one of them will actually completely let go 3 or 4 times a ride!
Bottom Line:
I didn't expect a whole lot for what I payed, but the strap issue is quickly making these shoes unusable, and they are barely a year old! On top of that, an email to Answer's customer support yielded no results, not even a reply.

Strengths: Well-fitting, easy to strap in, looks good

Bottom Line:
I've put on 200+ miles on these shoes and don't have a single loose stitch. All the Velcro is sticky, and all lugs on the bottom of the shoe are still intact. Maybe the other people just had a bad batch, but I think that these shoes hold up very well, especially for the price.

Strengths: cheap, look ok, arent to uncomfy, straps are secure
Weaknesses: The straps ripped along where the sticthing is but it was my fault cause I was pulling them alot cause of my very narrow foot, this was easily fixed by the shoe maker for 15 aussie bucks
Bottom Line:
I'd say get these shoes or the specialized for people that want a race looking shoe but don't have that much cash for a pair of shoes. # chiilis because of the straps ripping so early on, but I got them fixed for nearly nothing and nw they are even stronger than before.
Similar Products Used: my first spd shoe, but have tried some shimano one a while back
Bike Setup: giant yukon, egg beater pedals, alivio/deore drivetrain and so on.

Strengths: Price,style...these are the only strengths
Weaknesses: CHEAP,CHEAP,CHEAP quality materials....after only three rides inside of ball area of foot tearing, extremely hard on feet!Feel like cheap vinyl...probably because they are!
Bottom Line:
If you want a CHEAP beater shoe to ride a few times till you really want to invest in nice shoes these are the ones. BUT...be ready to either try to take them back for a refund or just throw them away.
