Strengths:    really airy the perfect hot weather mtb shoe.
stiff sole + a good close fit on my feet + sizing exact to match addidas sneakers
good grip from sole, easy to hike + bike in.
easy to set up cleat position, stays put + works great with CB pedals.
easy to lace up and adjust tension so its even + don't make my toes numb after 2 hours like my other shoes do.
nice clean design + superb great value for money

Weaknesses:    none so far

Bottom Line:
i'm really dissapointed to see that Adidas have stopped making these brilliant mtb shoes, gads i'm going to have to stock up for the future.

...if you live somewhere when you get a few days sunshine a year - you'll appreciate these well designed airy mtb shoes + your toes will love you!

Strengths:    Good tread, breathablitiy, adidas

Weaknesses:    stiff bottom, like, super stiff. somewhat narrow and loos fitting on the top of my feet closer to the toe, no matter how tight I pull the strings.

Bottom Line:
Make my feet cramp, first pair, somewhat impulse buy, and paid a low price for them. I'll spend more money and time on my next shoe.

Strengths:    Breathes well.
Stiff bottom plate.
Cool design.
Has cleats.

Weaknesses:    Loose on top even when locked.
It could use a strap.

Bottom Line:
Wouldn't want to get these wet. Design is great and the shoe breathes really well. The top could use a strap if you need a competition shoe. Otherwise, these are fun stomps to run around in. The cleats help off road as well.

Strengths:    Does not slide on slippery surface, Fast readiness and very Convenient

Weaknesses:    none at all

Bottom Line:
Does not slide on slippery surface like a log and stone. Fast readiness - thanks to a cord with lock. Supports the leg very correct. It is aired well.
If you have watered the shoes you should dry it at wind. Good product.

Strengths:    Very comfortable and light summer mountain shoes.

Weaknesses:    None so far.

Bottom Line:
These shoes are awesome. I ordered the exact same size I wear in all my other Adidas shoes and these fit perfectly. They are very light and the mesh sides are just what I was looking for in hot Arizona weather. When moving at a good speed the air goes right through your foot to cool you down. Very stiff bottom plate which results in excellent power transfer.

Hammer Perpetuem and Endurolyte?

Can I mix Hammer Perpetuem and Endurolyte powder in the same bottle? I use my hydration pack for straight water and have one bottle cage on my bike. My alternative is to use the Endurolyte tabs but I don't want to have to remember to stop every hour and eat one.Read More »

Rocky Mountain Hammer 725 steel

Ok I know RM no longer makes the Hammer 29 HT. I have the last model year they made in 2009 of the geared version and I'm curious about the 725 Reynolds steel that was used for the frame... Having had a Niner MCR9 that was made out of 853, I would say that 853 is a bit more springy where 725 f ... Read More »

Hammer Ale?

They sell it at Fresh and Easy for $13 for a 30 pack. I've been wanting to try it, but I don't want to waste $13, and info on the web is scarce. If nothing else, it'd be a good handout beer. Opinions? Read More »
