    Strengths:    Looks good new

Weaknesses:    Zipper a bit picky, fabric collects picks like a rock groupie!

    Bottom Line:
Nice looking jersey that I got because it came in the same colour as my new bike and had the Kona logo. It's a decent jersey as long as you don't take it in the woods. The fabric gets little picks from just touching branches! I've worn it about 4 times and it looks worse than my old Sugoi that I've worn for years. Voler makes a roadie-only jersey, avoid for offroad riding!

Strengths:    Perfect fit. Soft fabric, 20" zipper. Pockets are easy to get into: perfect location and stretch enough to put tons of stuff into.

    Weaknesses:    None so far

    Bottom Line:
I recently bought the MTBR jersey and shorts. I have a Voler long sleeve jersey and the Large was a perfect fit on me. I wasn't disappointed with the SS jersey. Excellent quality and another perfect fit. One of the cool things about ordering from Velowear is that they provide a self-addressed postage paid envelope for returns so if it's the wrong size, just pop it in the envelope and send it back for an exchange. I have bought a lot of stuff from e-tailers and this was the first one to offer this return feature at no charge. I think there's a restocking fee if you return for credit but it takes the fit anxiety out of ordering online. Nice touch.

Ibis Trail Jersey - One of the nicest constructed jersey's I've ever purchased

I'm 5'11" and about 170lbs, medium fits me just snug enough to make me look great without showing off the pudge. Zippered pocket is nice and has a special liner to keep the sweat out. Construction and stitching is EXCELLENT and the material is substantial without feeling heavy. I can imagine wear ... Read More »

Shorts and Jersey for HOT weather

MTB fashion trends have been moving away from the XC/road racer on dirt look for years, but San Antonio, TX is still pretty far behind. Lots of 300LBS, 40+ year old men still heading out to the bars on their trail bikes in $400 worth of fine, italian roadware. In an attempt to look like my he ... Read More »

    Best fabric for mtb jersey.

I would like to hear what is your favorite jersey material. Hot summer days. Colder days... Please do not hesitate to post links or photos. I do like merino wool. All my mtb socks are made of wool. I also own 2 woolen jerseys. They do get soaked with sweat on hot days and they seemed to take just a ... Read More »
