This honeycomb construction spreads moisture to the perimeter of the fabric cells, essentially thinning the density, where it's quickly evaporated. Working together, the two layers make for a jersey that's consistently moisture-free without compromising insulation quality. Besides consistent thermo-regulation, the Delano jersey uses flatlock seams throughout to mitigate chafing and discomfort. Garneau also incorporated elastic grippers on the sleeves and hem to control jersey-rise.
