from Wilmington, DE, USA Date Reviewed: January 10, 2009 | | Favorite Trail: | Fairhill MD | | Duration Product Used: | Less than 1 month | | Price Paid: |
$33.00 | | Purchased At: | Bike Line - Wilmingt | | Strengths: | Wind PROOF, Light, Packable, Even without discount this jacket would be worth the price, reflective piping | | Weaknesses: | No pockets anywhere, bummer, not "warm" | | Similar Products Used: | Sweaters, Long Sleeve Jerseys, etc. | | Bike Setup: | 29er SS | | Bottom Line: | Does what it is meant to do, doesn't get hung up on thorns, completely blocks wind, reflective for times I'm on the road(rare), haven't had it in the rain yet but it beads snot rocks nicely. It doesn't nothing for warmth like fleece, gets warm quick when your moving. Keeps your own heat in. Have worn it down to 25 degrees with a SS jersey and long sleeve underarmor shirt beneath it. Packs light and small and fits perfectly in camelbak. Got it for 50% off but would have been willing to drop the 64.95 msrp.
Bummer about pockets. | Value Rating: Overall Rating: |
