Strengths: Thick hardshell. Old school looks are groovin. Pretty indestructible. Troy Lee. I got it for free. Yah woo!Weaknesses: Hot,but its a full face, what can you expect? My chin sticks out the bottom sometimes, but I haven't hit it on anything. A little innovation and you can have it fitting and feeling better. I cannablized an old helmet and removed the roc-loc from the back and all the sweat-absorbing velco pads. I swapped em in, and did some work with the webbing, and now the thing sticks on my bony head really well.Bottom Line: Groovin helmet, classic look, gives you more balls. If you can find one, get it. If it is free, then cry and rejoice.

Strengths: I am reviewing the TL EDGE, not the gay useless one with the full-face attachment but the 1/2 coverage one that came out in 1994-5.
Excellent Protection for the Noggin.
Different and cool lookin.
1st non-geeky looking helmet, why stop making them?
No Sweat bands.Weaknesses: No Sweat bands.
Some what heavy, ventilation is lacking.
They stopped making this rad helmet.Bottom Line: This helmet is totally different and totally cool looking.
Compared to this lid all other helmets are roadie lids.

Strengths: Solid; great fit; decent ventilation; adjustable visor; good looks; excellent protection.Weaknesses: Heavy. Virtually nothing to absorb sweat.Bottom Line: Even though this helmet does not have any type of adjustment, it fits GREAT! It stays snug even after several hours of sweating. Didn't slip-n-slide. It does not have the huge vents found on most modern helmets -- nor does it provide the opportunity for tree branches to jab ya in da head. The smallish vents provide better cooling than expected. The adjustable visor actually ahhhh...adjusts; simple and secure. The pads are easily replaced. Provides excellent coverage and protection. Old school looks remain cool. Great alternative to high priced big hole helmets.
