The Skillet has a tough abuse-resistant shell and unlike many skate helmets, it’s fully CPSC-certified for bicycle use. Worn by Darren Berrecloth and other aggro Specialized riders.

Strengths:
Adjustable. Stylish on shelf.
Weaknesses:
Price is one issue. Also, once on head looks as if I had a growth.
Similar Products Used:
Pro-tec 'Classic'.
Bike Setup:
Gary Fisher King Fisher 1 & Cake 1.
Bottom Line:
The helmet was returned after trying to get used to it around the house. It felt cumbersome. I would recommend Pro-tec, Triple Eight (little on the heavy side, but has a "sweatsaver" with super soft cushioning, or Bell (feels good, great price point & nice color palette).

Strengths:
good fit looks cool
Weaknesses:
bad ventilation colour comes off very easy adjustment shifts
Similar Products Used:
none, only Fullfaces and XC Helmets
Bike Setup:
Coiler Dee-Lux
Bottom Line:
When I bought it, it fitted my head best, but adjustment straps move easily + adjustment system at the back of the head shifts too boils your brain at summer and sweat kind of backs up above the headband (I know that's gross, but that's what it does...) all foam parts on the plastic headband came off the first day, you see every little scratch on it. A No for CrossCountry - stay to the ugly helmets... I'll get me a Casco Viper
