Submitted by snajo a Cross Country Rider from Salt Lake City, UT
Date Reviewed: February 9, 2009
Duration Product Used:1 Year
Price Paid: $80.00
Purchased At:LBS
Strengths:Lightweight. Performed well in a crash resulting in a ruptured spleen and compound fracture of the arm. Helmet broke, head did not.
Weaknesses:The retention system is lightweight, but highly vulnerable to damage when not being worn.
Similar Products Used:Specialized 'Air Force'
Bike Setup:giant trance 2 (2005)
Bottom Line:It's an effective helmet, but the retention system is comparatively low quality for a rather high priced helmet.

Five for saving my noggin and three for not giving the retention system more attention.
