Submitted by bOOnie a Downhiller from Sydney, NSW, Australia
Date Reviewed: November 22, 2002
Duration Product Used:2 Years
Price Paid: $350.00
Purchased At:Bike Smith
Strengths:Very Light, Lots of vents bout 20 breathes very well, can do long rides in summer. Fits well. Looks like your serious. Strong won't break easy. (I managed to knock myself out while wearing it, it just scratched)
Weaknesses:Very long makes you look a bit like an alien. Wish they used stainless mesh at the front. Have to be nice to the pads or they rip.
Similar Products Used:Apache Odessy (like a farken oven) Giro Madmax (not as well vented, heavy)
Bike Setup:Gary fisher Level Betty. Modified to downhill.
Bottom Line:An excellent helmet. Can't buy em any more though. Best breathing full face I have seen wouldn't want anything else. Light and good for summer

Date Reviewed: March 27, 2001
Favorite Trail:Urban Assualt
Duration Product Used:Less than 1 month
Price Paid: $85.00
Purchased At:Chain Reaction Cycles
Strengths:Its very light weight (only 1.0Kg), Very well vented, Kick ass looks (in white or black, the other colours look crap), Very Plush, thick and confortable padding, goggle guide, and removeble moto peak (i've got a troy lee one on now).
Weaknesses:mmmmmm, not much room for stickers with all its vents, if ya like that kinda thing.
Similar Products Used:Giro Incline (cheap and cheerful), Met Attila (Gay looking)
Bike Setup:Cortina Hardtail w/ bolt thru axle, Marzocchi QR20s, 24" wheels with 3" tyres, Hope 4 pot disks, Roox, Azonic, DMR.
Bottom Line:Now that Qranc have gone bust, you can pick these babies up for real cheap all over the world, i got mine for £70 reduced from £200! This is the first full face helmet i have owned and i really like it, its light, well vented, and looks cool and very moto (especially with a chrome troy lee peak). I have also been using this helmet for skiboarding and its just as good on the snow. I have yet to find any major faults with it yet, and for 70 quid i cant complain, i give it -

Submitted by James Peterson a downhiller from Salt Lake City
Date Reviewed: October 20, 1998
Bottom Line:
I can't believe no one has entered a review for this the finest of lids! For a mere $270, you too can own the safe haven of Missy, Myles, Shaums March, Todd Tanner, plus many other top pros.
The best part about this helmet (Besides light price tag) is light weight. It ain't no TLD carbon Daytona, but I think it's the next best thing at just over 2 pounds. There is lots of back-of-the-head protection, like 15 or 20 vents, and comes in more than 5 stylin' colors! There is an included visor, with a Moto-Visor option, which is bigger, like a moto-visor.
Performance is nice. The goggle window is big, there's a velcro strap on the back to keep your Smith/Arnette/Oakley/Goat/Spy goggles in place, and the helmet feels balanced on your head. There's even a RocLoc-type thingy in the back of the lid to keep it from shaking.
No less than 5 flamin' chillis for this fine piece of helmet art.
