Submitted by pedroagnelo a Cross Country Rider from Portugal
Date Reviewed: November 25, 2008
Duration Product Used:3 months
Price Paid: $116.00
Strengths:Build quality, ventilation, looks. Also fits really nice.
Weaknesses:None so far
Similar Products Used:Parabellum, E2, Sweep XC, etc
Bike Setup:Cannondale Jekyll
Bottom Line:I bought this helmet to replace my old and worn out MET Parabellum. Good construction and excelent fit together with verry good ventilation made me take this one instead of Bell's Sweep XC. Besides that it looks very good and is fairly light (but I'm not a weight weenie).
Would recomend to XC racers and All Mountain riders

Date Reviewed: June 7, 2008
Duration Product Used:Less than 1 month
Price Paid: $100.00
Purchased At:J E James.
Strengths:Quality of manufacture, looks, weight, ventilation and most importantly fit.
Weaknesses:None so far.
Similar Products Used:Giro E2, Specialized Decibel, Bell Sweep XC.
Bike Setup:Modified Cannondale Rush.
Bottom Line:This is without doubt the best fitting helmet I have ever used, never tried MET before but I'm fully converted. Also looked at the Kaos but not as nice as this one in my opinion plus Veleno is cheaper which is a bonus. Would fully recommend to anyone who has fit issues or fancies a change from Giro, Bell etc.

Submitted by Ashley a Weekend Warrior from Cloncurry, Australia
Date Reviewed: May 15, 2008
Duration Product Used:6 months
Price Paid: $250.00
Strengths:Light, good venterlation, provides good coverage and looks mean.
Weaknesses:The straps take a little while to become soft and comfotable
Similar Products Used:Girc
Bike Setup:Giant Trance 1
Bottom Line:Where I live and ride is exytremly hot, getting up into the mide 50 degress celcius in summer, so a good venterlating helmet is a must. This helmat has no worries with that. With it being so light and once worn for a little while it becomes very comfortable and you forget that it is on some times.
