With its avant-guard design, The DEDALO is one the most unique helmets on the market. Derived from the NOVA3 design process, it’s characterized not only by it s incomparable character, but also by its exceptional technical aspects that make it light and compact.

Purchased At:

Strengths:
Heaps of vents, including above the ears. Not too expensive. Doesn't slip around on the head. Very easy to adjust the straps. They don't slip either, keeping the helmet snug.
Weaknesses:
Pointy bits at the back get a bit dented if you are a bit rough with your helmet. Looks unusual - very angular and pointy.
Bike Setup:
Giant 2001 NRS1 Sram x-9 Marzocchi Flylights
Bottom Line:
Best helmet I've had, but looks strange :) Mountain/trails styling - the angular look may not to everyone's taste. Cheapest MET helmet that I saw that has large side vents over the ears. It keeps my head nice and cool. I'd also suggest the MET Zefiro if you don't want/care for a visor. It appears to be the same helmet as the Dedalo but you'll save $10 (and 10 grams).
