Strengths: Light weight
Cool orange/blue colours,
Vented for your pleasure,
fits snug,
etc!Weaknesses: Had an extra bit of moulding in the front which dug into my head through the padding - had to adapt it a lil bit - adjusters kept unadjusting (added a stitch to keep in place) apart from that
these dont really count as a weekness (as every helmet ive had ive had to do this to!)
SO NO WEEKNESSES!Bottom Line: NO LONGER AVAILABLE :(
YOU SHOULD HAVE BOUGHT ONE!

Strengths: Great ventilation, so much so that I have to wear a skull cap in winter. Excellent fit system. Great looks that stand out from the crowdWeaknesses: Big top vents cause some sunburn on my sparse bonce.Bottom Line: This has been a very comfortable helmet in all sorts of conditions, even the heat of a 41deg summer trip. Always a comfortable fit and really easy to setup straight from the box. My head hit the hard clay very heavily in a recent dump that has left me with a broken hip and collarbone. Head is fine. The helmet has a small crack in the EPS foam. Have replaced it with the new Anaxagore 2. MET helmets are great.

Strengths: I's got to be the best lid out there guys!Weaknesses: Don't be soft!Bottom Line: This is about the 5 element helmet, i had a very bad crash two weeks ago...and i'm still alive. In the crash i smashed my wheels(mavic d521 rims) bent my easton monkey bars, i was off work for a week with bad ass cuts and bruses. As the crash was very fast about 38mph, it seemed to happen in slow motion' i can remember bashing my hed a couple of very hard times as i rolled down a nasty bad ass decent. The helmet more than did a good job, not even a sore head... amazing.. if you ride like a twat you must get one of these babys for sure! Lifes to short and all that..keep on riding.. a get yourself a good lid, or it's baby food for the rest of your life! THIS LID IS THE BEST OUT THERE TWENTY STEAMING VINDALOO CHILIS!

Strengths: -ventilation
-weight
-cool colors (2002 serie)

-waranty
Weaknesses: -little space for stickersBottom Line: Very good helmet for the price. Its ideal for xc riding and racing. Very popular helmet. Havent had the chance to try a Giro yet, but in my opinion Met are the best helmets. The 3 year warranty just ads the fifth flamin' chili.

Strengths: For the price, its a very light helmet thats got really good ventilation. The harness is also very good and extremely comfortable.Weaknesses: The padding seems very thin up top, but so far, it hasn't caused any sort of concerns.Bottom Line: Its the best helmet that I've had so far. Well ventilated, light weight, great fitting, looks good and is very well priced. Plus not many people wear them over here, so its different and people seem to notice it!!

Strengths: This is actually for the Met V Element, but it's not on the list. It's comfortable, easy to adjust, 29 vents (!), non-average looks (not a cookie-cutter helmet).Weaknesses: None that I can see. Is a little wider around the base (If you're bothered by that).Bottom Line: Cheaper than both my Giro helmets, but lighter and more comfortable. Don't get me wrong; I liked the Pneumo and it saved my head when I got introduced to a Toyota, but I'm glad I ordered the Element. They won't sell the helmet in the US because they're afraid of idiots suing them if they get hurt wearing a Met. I had to order mine from London, but it was worth it. It definately stands out in a crowd. Wish I could give it more Chilis! If you heat up easy or live in a hot environment, look at this helmet first.

Strengths: One of the most comfortable helmets I've ever tried. Fits nice and snug and I sometimes forget it's there.Weaknesses: None that I've experienced.Bottom Line: Great helmet and definately worth getting. I had a huge crash last weekend and bashed my head about three/four times off rocks. Helmet is still going strong and so is my head.

Strengths: Ventilation. Lightweight. ComfyWeaknesses: Doesn't make me ride better.
What is that visor for ?
No room to put cool stickersBottom Line: Really comfortable, light, well ventilated helmet which you just put on and forget about. Until you hit about 50mph and then the roaring noise from the exhaust vents gets really loud. Joking, but it does vent well.
Visor is use to neither man nor beast.
I'm giving it 4 Extra Spicy Mopani Worms because I havn't crashed hard enough on my head yet to know for sure it will perform it's primary function. If I do and it does, it gets another worm.

Strengths: Light, good ventilation, looks good, comfortable.Weaknesses: Sits slightly high on the head. Left-side strap is not adjustable.Bottom Line: Good helmet! Has very good ventilation and is tough and light. It's a good looking helmet to boot.
I would strongly recommend this helmet. The weaknesses listed, are only minor, and does not really detract much from the excellence of this helmet.

Strengths: PLENTLY of AIRFLOW, light, great looks, secure visor, one size fits all. No need for a factory head, ie - Giro. 3 year crash warrenty.Weaknesses: None, besides the colours that Met offers.Bottom Line: Sweet as helment. Keeps your head cool and looking great on long rides in the mountains or the urban assuault. Get this helmet if you want one that looks good and works well. Another reason would be that you cannot fit into a Giro because of the factory head problem which many people have for wearing a Giro helment. It's worth you dollar! Not to mention that it's not commonly seen, so you'll be the centre of attention.
