Favorite Trail:Shindagin Hollow
Duration Product Used:Less than 1 month
Purchased At:Swan Cycles
Strengths:Sealed pads, great retention system, lightweight, good venting.
Weaknesses:Not as much coverage as i wanted....but still more than a straight XC lid. GRaphics/colors could use some expanding.
Similar Products Used:Fox flux, protec
Bike Setup:Not relevant
Bottom Line:NIce helmet. As light as the Xen and less expensive. This helmet does not have the coverage of the Fox flux, but has a VASTLY improved fit and finish.

Coverage is higher than a straight XC lid, but not as much as some of the other "all-mountain" helmets out there.

I like the ability to symmetrically adjust the retention system on the fly. I also like the sealed pads because the helmet doesn't feel like a soggy towel after a few minutes of sweating (like the Flux) and this also helps the sweat to not drip directly into your eyes.

It's also really comfortable and the pads are located in appropriate places. I forget that i am wearing it because it fits good and its light.

5 for value. I don't like how expensive good helmets are, but this one is certainly competitive in its price range.

4 overall because i think they should extend coverage a bit.
