Strengths:    Price, weight, coverage, ventalation

Weaknesses:    strap system

Bottom Line:
The Section is a light, well made helmut that is more than confortable to wear on the trail. I've worn it weekly for over a month and can say most times I forget to take it off while strapping the bikes back on the racks at the trail heads. It give ample coverage around the back of the head while maintaining good ventalation; I've yet to get uncomfortably hot wearing it.

The only thing I'd say could be improved would be the strap system; they lack flexability at the attachment points on the helmut. It's not so bad that I'd knock down the rating so it's not a deal breaker but could be improved.

If you're looking for a good, comfortable helmut but dont quite need a full face, you wont regret this purchase.

Strengths:    *styling graphics
*fits my cranium. I tried out the Giro Flak, and this one fit much better.

Weaknesses:    Most stores want around $55.00 for this helmet. xsportsprotective.com had it for $35.00. Can't beat that value.

Bottom Line:
A much better helmet than the Flak, hands down.

I have been on several online maps and multiple Google searches trying to map out my next adventure. I would like to find the abandoned town of Daniels and wanted to start in Woodstock MD on the lesser traveled Patapsco trail network. I have read that I should either park at the Woodstock Inn or the ... Read More »

Repost from TURNER Section of Forums

Front derailler is way too high above big chainring, should be 1 or 3 mm. Any suggestions? Seat tube welds are in the way, and filing derailler clamp will not get me to where I want to be. Read More »
