Giro's Rift helmet has loads of ventilation, rugged good looks and performance features normally found on more expensive helmets. And, the Universal Fit with Acu DialTM adjust makes it an easy choice for all kinds of riding. In-Mold constructed for lightweight, durability and optimal ventilation, the Rift helmet has 24 air circulating vents and a tough outer shell fused to an impact absorbing inner EPS liner. The easy Acu DialTM allows single-handed adjustment with a full fit band for a quick, sure fit.

Bottom Line:
great value, good ratings with the crash testers, lots of colors to chose from, fits rounder larger heads well. My head fits well into medium sized helmets open up all the way, and large on the lowest setting is usually a bit loose, this helmet when snug still has room for a larger head. Buy it if you want a good value, have a large head, and only use your bike once in a while, if you ride every day get a size specific helmet that fits just right, test try, not just over the internet

Strengths:
Very light, easy to adjust, nice coverage in the back compared to most helmets and looks great.
Weaknesses:
ACU adjust thingy loosens a bit during the course of a ride.

Bottom Line:
Great light helmet with good ventilation. It runs with only one size so NOT for smaller heads. I use a Halo headband underneath to help with the sweat but fits snuggly with it. With the Halo, not as great. I got it for the nice look and the price.
