Date Reviewed: July 31, 2009
Favorite Trail:lumbar hills
Duration Product Used:1 Year
Price Paid: $45.00
Purchased At:ebay
Strengths:well made, good coverage, comfy.
Weaknesses:had a bit of trouble adjusting the strap to fit me right when first purchased (its a unisize), major mushroom head
Similar Products Used:giro indicator, giro eclipse
Bike Setup:48x16 fixed gear surly steamroller with front brake
Bottom Line:great value, good ratings with the crash testers, lots of colors to chose from, fits rounder larger heads well. My head fits well into medium sized helmets open up all the way, and large on the lowest setting is usually a bit loose, this helmet when snug still has room for a larger head. Buy it if you want a good value, have a large head, and only use your bike once in a while, if you ride every day get a size specific helmet that fits just right, test try, not just over the internet

Strengths:Very light weight, can't imagine a helmet that is much more comfortable for the price
Weaknesses:haven't found any

Date Reviewed: June 2, 2009
Favorite Trail:Southridge
Duration Product Used:1 Year
Price Paid: $40.00
Purchased At:REI
Strengths:Very light, easy to adjust, nice coverage in the back compared to most helmets and looks great.
Weaknesses:ACU adjust thingy loosens a bit during the course of a ride.
Similar Products Used:Giro Indicator, Fox Flux, Giro Semi-MX
Bike Setup:'08 Intense 5.5 EVP
Bottom Line:Great light helmet with good ventilation. It runs with only one size so NOT for smaller heads. I use a Halo headband underneath to help with the sweat but fits snuggly with it. With the Halo, not as great. I got it for the nice look and the price.
