Submitted by Hernan Castaneda a Weekend Warrior from Quito/Ecuador
Date Reviewed: May 8, 2006
Duration Product Used:6 months
Price Paid: $100.00
Purchased At:Zenith Quito
Strengths:anything: comfort, ventilation, ajustment, look, light.
Weaknesses:Expensive, too xc, but compared to my 661 full face comp, this is my mtb reinvention.
Similar Products Used:Some Bells (not so nice), 661 full comp (great protection, but it is a microwave)
Bike Setup:Bullit, xt, mavic EX729, 5th element, easton, thompson, maxxis, hayes mag and the new 66 light eta is already coming
Bottom Line:Great Helmet, light, good protection for xc, many and big ventilation holes. This helment fits me perfect. Compared with other helmets in the same price range, it is the best. But remember here in Ecuador averything is too expensive, so a soso bell helmet cost pretty the same (+/- USD100). The best xc helmet, some extra protection as the giro xen would be perfect for more agresive riders. But for it intended use it is the best.

Submitted by Paolo Dumadag a Cross Country Rider from Cebu City,Philippines
Date Reviewed: July 30, 2004
Duration Product Used:Less than 1 month
Price Paid: $100.00
Purchased At:Bikehub
Strengths:Looks,Ventilation,Lightweight,And their Quick turn Adjustment locks are superb.
Weaknesses:None yet
Similar Products Used:Giro
Bike Setup:Kona cinder cone hardtail,xt gruppo,mavic rims,Panaracer xc pro,Duke sl.
Bottom Line:Im particular with a helmet that really fits.Im also a lot on its aesthetic looks as well as the fuction.I would also consider the price.I was contemplating on buying a Rudy Project ayron but our dealer here is less than helpful pertaining stocks and availability. The Xenon's quick turn knob is pure heaven, adjustments can be made in a sec.NO more saggy helmet. The 18 vents really does it's office. You can actually feel the breeze even at low speeds. Its fairly light,255 grams of headgear. In terms of durability, I have to crash test it first.I would recommend you guys to BUY IT! It's good value plus the quality..
