Strengths:
Seriously protects your head.
Weaknesses:
None that I know of.
Bottom Line:
My husband was wearing this helmet when he bunny hopped a log only to have his bike and then his head hit a rock. Helmet was dented and cracked, but my husband was neither. He had a few scrapes on his head, but no concussion, bruise, or anything worse. We purchased another one already. It did exactly what it was supposed to!

Strengths:
Adjusts to your head, Ventilates well, Good looks.
Weaknesses:
Strap is quite long out of the box, but it is easily trimmed.
This is a good all around helmet. It's not a top of the line race helmet, but it works. Good ventilation, decent weight, and a good fit makes this a good buy for almost anyone!

Strengths:
Light, well vented
Weaknesses:
Rather large profile
Similar Products Used:
none
Bottom Line:
You can forget you have it on, it's so light. The vents work well. So well in fact that my head froze in spots on a winter ride (and I had a thin hat on).
It seems a bit large in profile on my head. Puts me in mind of a showjumper's helmet. Probably I have a narrow head or something.

To start, I'm 185lbs, I had a nasty endo wearing this helmet going head first into ground from 4 feet. Cracked it in 2 places, but got up and rode away.. I hit at the top of my head but the impact was hard enough that my far-head bruised.. this helmet did it's job. Back and neck are sore..

when i compared the listed weights for this helmet and the influx, within 20g of each other, i couldn't believe it -- the slant feels HALF as heavy on the head! after a year in this helmet, i'd buy another in a SECOND! the only real advantage the influx has/had over the slant is the feel of the pads -- influx is a touch softer on the skin. i noticed last summer, also, that i dripped less sweat with the slant -- better venting, more evap.
oooohhhhhhh, yyyeeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhh...........i'll have another one!

I have hard time finding a helmet that fits my head well and this one seems to do the job. It cools well with the 21 large vents. It adjusts well and stay on the head. It's pretty light too...

Bottom Line:
This helmets fits great and is a snap to adjust properly. The large multiple vents keep you very cool while riding even on hot days. The vent is kinda useless and flimsy, but it can keep some brush out of your face. Im not sure what other reviewers are talking about with poor quality, since helmets pass preset standards in this country, but remember, a concussion is less sever that a skull fracture, or worse.

Cheap, not sure that's a strength though. You get what you pay for.
Weaknesses:
Had a low speed crash and still got a concussion. Invest in something that will actually protect you. This looks like a good helmet, but looks aren't everything. Any other crash at that speed wouldn't have been significant had I been wearing any other helmet.
Similar Products Used:
Countless, go through them pretty quick, had this one lying around when used. I once used a protec downhill and crashed hard. I was easily going 3 times faster at that time and came out fine.
Bike Setup:

Bottom Line:
Do not buy or use. A good helmet is cheaper than a hospital bill for head injuries.
