$25.00 | | Purchased At: | on-line | | Strengths: | Lightweight (for some riders), form-fitting, very comfortable. Provides great steering feedback. Light padding doesn't deaden the feel of the bar. | | Weaknesses: | Lightweight (for some riders) | | Similar Products Used: | AXO xc-type gloves, Schwinn xc-type gloves. | | Bike Setup: | Used w/ ODI lock on grips | | Bottom Line: | First of all, there are several caveats to mention: 1. These are meant to be light weight XC gloves 2. These are meant to provide better grip and light protection 3. These are NOT freeride or downhill gloves
That said: I've used various versions of this glove ever since 1998. They last extremely well even through some ugly wipe-outs and several sidewalk slides. They are the most comfortable gloves I've worn.
I've gone back woods riding, a couple of downhill races (yes- I wiped), and winter riding with these. While they are not meant to do everything, they handle most seasonal rides exceptionally. They provide protection for mild to medium crashes and scrapes but will not protect you from bruising and breaking digits. | Value Rating: Overall Rating: |
