Strengths:    Ventilates well in extreme heat (100+F days), as advertised. Palm padding is thick enough for a pavement bail.

Weaknesses:    No real padding or impact protection for fingers or knuckles. In less than a year, the right hand pointer finger seam tore from wear, I assume, from shifting.

Bottom Line:

On my second pair. For brutal East Texas heat and trail types in the region, these gloves work fine. For more aggressive riding, I'm already looking for a better pair for when these wear out, though. I would not want to use these gloves for future trips to New Mexico. I think more protection would be needed on faster and rockier terrain.

If you ride single track or cross country in very hot climates, this glove will work well enough for most needs.
